Bootstrap Directory organizes funding, contracts, and workforce training programs from official sources so founders, small businesses, nonprofits, educators, and learners can move from discovery to the right application page faster.
We prioritize official government portals, agency websites, funder websites, universities, workforce boards, Eligible Training Provider Lists, nonprofit program pages, and verified company program pages. Common source families include Grants.gov, SAM.gov, SBIR.gov, Challenge.gov, CareerOneStop, Apprenticeship.gov, state economic-development agencies, and state workforce systems.
Listings may include title, funder, source category, funding category, amount range, eligibility notes, deadlines, rolling status, geography, application URL, source URL, tags, and last-verification information. Training listings may also include program/funding mechanism details such as WIOA, Short-Term Pell/Workforce Pell, apprenticeship, Job Corps, SNAP E&T, VR, or provider-specific scholarships.
We look for direct source pages and application pages before publishing or promoting a listing. When data sources allow it, listings are refreshed on a weekly cadence and stale or closed programs are removed from public results. Users should always confirm eligibility, deadlines, and award terms on the official source before applying.
Search and pSEO pages combine structured filters, live listings, source context, and internal links. We avoid intentionally indexing pages that do not have a clear search intent, enough unique information, or a path to useful listings.
If a source has changed, a deadline is wrong, or a program should be removed, contact the Bootstrap Directory team with the official URL and correction details. We use corrections to improve the listing and the data pipeline.
