Browsing without an account
You can browse public listings, hubs, and guides without creating an account. Like most websites, our servers receive standard technical request information (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) when you visit.
If you create an account
We store the name and email address you sign up with. If you sign up with email and password, the password is stored as a one-way hash. If you use Google sign-in, Google authentication (via Firebase) confirms your identity and shares your name and email with us. Your sign-in session is kept in your browser's local storage.
You can add optional profile details such as a headline, bio, company, stage, industry, state, website, and photo. Founder profiles are public by default; you can change visibility in Settings → Privacy.
Things you create on the site
Community posts and comments, direct messages, saved items, and application tracking are stored so the features work. If you use the AI funding tools, your questions, profile answers, and any documents you upload are processed to generate matches and reports, which may involve sending them to a third-party AI model provider.
We may email you about your account and features you use, such as notifications and messages.
